Blessing of the Animals

Blessing of the Animals is coming soon!

Here are some items you can bring:

  • Your pet dog, cat, or any pet that is transportable.

  • A stuffed animal.

  • A picture of an animal you can’t transport.

Q: When is Blessing of the Animals?

A: Wednesday, October 3, 2018

Q: Can I bring my fish?

A: Yes, but it is not recommended. You would need to bring it in a plastic bag and fish can get really scared. It also may not have enough oxygen in the bag.

Q: What happens to my pet when the event is over?

A: If you bring a live animal a parent will have to take the pet home with them. If you bring a picture or stuffed animal, it has to be able to fit in your backpack. You are still not allowed to show it to anybody, though.

Q: Can my cat come out of the stroller?

A: No, it cannot. Animals can’t be off leashes and cats especially have to be in a stroller or carrier. Any other small animals have to be in strollers or cages.

Q: What time does it start and end?

A: It starts at 8:00 am. Your parents and pets will have to go home at 8:45 am.

Remember, you don’t have to bring something if you don’t want to.
