This I Believe
I believe it is a tremendous privilege and responsibility to teach young learners. I seek to create a true sense of community within the classroom where students feel safe and supported. In such an environment, the children take risks, pursue knowledge, and learn through deep exploration. I strive to support students in their learning endeavors, incorporating multiple learning styles and intelligences. Partnering with families is imperative to extend the learning community outside the classroom. Through our work together, I hope to develop each child’s confidence and competence, while establishing a lifelong love of learning.

I Teach Because… I believe it is a privilege to embark on a journey with each student as he or she develops a sense of self, learns to take risks, and builds confidence. I truly appreciate the curiosity, humor, wit and enthusiasm of Kindergarteners.
Something I am Passionate About Outside of Education is… Music, Reading, Travel.
