A Teacher Who Inspired Me: Mrs. Hudson, my elementary school teacher who stayed a kid in spirit and exuberance and was not being afraid to go off the daily script.

I teach because…I teach because I believe that all of our children will most likely eventually have access to computers and endless knowledge via the internet, but they may not again be given the gift to learn the basic fundamentals of being a kind human who is skilled at face to face interactions. If we can support them while they learn to be savvy, joyful humans and as they learn to give and accept love, then all of the other aspects of education will hopefully fall into place.

Something I am Passionate About Outside of Education is…My kids, my cats, books, traveling, hiking, music, and making people happy.

Favorite Spot on Campus:The library of course! The walls are teaming with voices and adventures from the stories. It exudes limitless possibilities!
