This I Believe
I believe that each student should be valued for the unique gifts, interests, and experience they bring to the classroom. I strive to create a safe and engaging learning environment, where students have a voice and are active learners: exploring, constructing, creating, thinking critically, reflecting, doing. By providing opportunities to explore their interests, build their knowledge of the world around them, and better understand themselves as learners, I hope to inspire a lifelong love of learning.
A Teacher Who Inspired Me: My elementary school teachers were inspiring: they encouraged my curiosity and creativity, and they loved me for who I was.
A Trinity Student Is… Bright, creative, compassionate
I Teach Because… I love spending my days with intellectually curious and creative people who care deeply about our world.
Something I am Passionate About Outside of Education is… I love traveling and have an adventurous spirit. Traveling is the ultimate learning experience!
Favorite Spot on Campus: My favorite spot on campus is the fifth grade classroom. It is a true reflection of my students and who they are at any given moment.
