Christmas Craft Fair

Matt Allio
The Elementary and Early Childhood Campuses (meaning everyone) enjoyed a magical Holiday Craft Fair.
The Great Hall on the Elementary Campus and Trinity Hall on the Early Childhood Campus were transformed into Santa’s Village, with volunteers scurrying like elves, all to the delight of the students and their teachers.  Snowman Soup, Nutcrackers, Christmas Mouse Ornaments, lines for the Photo Books, Snowflakes, a new Christmas Tree adorning the stage, and a Service Learning Project - organized by Grade 2 - for families in transitional housing.  For me, what’s most compelling about this event is the authentic and pure joy that is so apparent in the children.  The sense of wonder, awe, and anticipation is indelible. It’s truly remarkable.

Thank you to Piper Griffin, Andreia Stark, and Emily Wang for their creative, abundantly cheerful, and tireless work in pulling together this village of joy and the volunteer elves (some who have been coming for years and would never miss this opportunity) for making the day magical for everyone.
