Mathematics

Mathematics is a fundamental aspect of our everyday world.
In our Early Childhood Program, we immerse students in numeracy activities designed to deepen their understanding and explore various mathematical skills. Through engaging hands-on inquiry, students delve into essential concepts such as:
  • “What do numbers represent, and how can they be used to measure and compare quantities?”
  • “What are the relationships between numbers and everyday objects?”
  • “How do terms like less, more, longer, and shorter apply in different contexts?”
  • “How can we construct and deconstruct various structures and identify the shapes and patterns in our surroundings?”
  • “What roles do numbers play in organizing and solving everyday problems?”
By actively exploring these questions, students build foundational math skills while developing critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. This approach enhances their understanding of mathematics and develops their ability to apply and problem-solve using different applications and concepts.
